At Junglee Hing, we are deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of purity,

strictly adhere to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.
According to FSSAI norms, the only permissible ingredients in compounded hing are:
- Edible gum
- Permitted flour base (e.g., wheat or rice flour)
- Pure asafoetida resin
We ensure that every batch of our compounded hing complies with the following mandatory quality benchmarks:
- Moisture content: Not more than 10%
- Alcoholic extract: Not less than 5%
We firmly oppose and do not use any unauthorized additives such as:
- Turmeric powder
- Artificial colors or butter colors
- Oil or oleoresin capsicum
- Synthetic flavor enhancers
- Preservatives or adulterants
Such ingredients not only violate FSSAI standards but also compromise the safety, flavor, and medicinal value of the product. Products using these will fail FSSAI lab testing and pose a risk to consumer health.
